Still "under assessment at Visa Section".
jammysingh wrote:Hi Guys,
I had posted my extention application(HSMP -> Tier1) on 28th March. I contacted the homeoffice today The status is "awaiting consideration".
Has anyone submitted their application around same date?
The homeoffice website says they are currently considering the applications recieved on or before 31st March but my application is still awaiting consideration. Any idea what could be the reason?
Thanks
Hi Kishore...dont worry you should get the application tommorow or day after latest.kishorechowdary wrote:Hi All
I think they will send it using royal mail recorded delivery as i did not arrange any courier.
At what time will the mail arrive usually i mean time frame.

No council tax shouldnt matter. Even the status info they provide on the phone is always confusing. Dont worry you might have got the visa.shubham_arora2001 wrote:i had submitted 2 different sources - now i am thinking that I have not paid my council tax and that might be the reason - normally the status goes from under consideration to awaiting further consideration and then under consideration again - I dont know y my case never went to under further consideration!
what documents/evidence did you provide for the previous earnings?inna wrote:Category: HSMP to Tier 1 (Extension)
Applied: 25 March
HO Letter (dated): 27 March
HO Letter (received): 31 March
Current Visa Expiry: 23 April
Visa rejected (dated): 9 May
[Rejected due to not having 2 sources for previous earnings]
Documents Received: 12 May
12 payslips and a letter from my employer confirming the amount - I didn't realise you needed 2 separate sources. I've only known just found out that a P60 is also the same 'source', so 3 of the tick box options are actually all the same source - makes it quite confusing.jammysingh wrote:what documents/evidence did you provide for the previous earnings?inna wrote:Category: HSMP to Tier 1 (Extension)

So sad to hear. As per the rules they wont accept the new evidence. But i think there is no harm in sending your bank statements in your appeal.Write a convincing letter.inna wrote:I have 12 months worth of bank statements (that correlate with everything) I could send in straight away, in my appeal, but I'm not sure if they will accept 'new' information.
So despite the fact that I'm didn't do anything wrong as such, and I have all the approriate evidence ready to go, I may not be allowed to get my extension. £750 down the drain and will need to leave the country pretty soon if all fails.
They wouldn't tell me but I have also asked via email (no response yet). Did anyone else get this same status and if so were you successful or unsuccessful? Does everyone get this status message regardless of outcome?bred wrote:Status updated this morning to " Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same" Not in Kyiv right now so going to phone up to see if this means successful or unsuccessful...
