HSMP Dependant visa query

hi ,

My husband is holding HSMP(General Tier1 visa).He moved to UK this year in Jan,2009.
Now I'll be applying for the dependant visa in July.He's maintaining 3 months maintenance fund of 1600 GBP.
Can you please tell me what all other documents required?
And what's the visa fee for dependant of General Tier1 visa holder with HSMP approval?

Where are you applying from?

If applying from India ..fee for tier-1 dependant is around 50650 INR.

if you are applying for HSMP dependant from India it is around 18K. (my wife applying for my son next week)

Hi sjidh,

I'm not aware of timelines at Mumbai/Pune.
But, regarding documents, you'll require the following :
- Marriage certificate(showing change of Surname, if it applies)
- Joint account statement(in India), just to confirm your relationship financially as well(This is not mandatory though).

This is what I have sent them

1. Payslips of last 6 months.
2. Offer/Appointment letter copy.
3. House Documents.
4. Invitation Letter to say staying with me.
5. Marriage certificate.
6. Utility bills (in my case I have both mine and my wife's name on council and few other bills)
7. Bank statements to show enough funds to support (for last 6 months).


I dont know about the timescales, but I am also worried now because they are planning to travel back to UK in 1st week of june, and they are still waiting for passport for my son. Once it is received they want to apply for visa from Hyd. VFS adviced me that it takes 3 weeks.
