U dont need to be tense buddy. they will call again. HO knew that anyone could be busy at any time. My company's HR is always busy but still HO get through them. Anyways dont worry and get your fingers cross...
They would make reasonable efforts to contact your employer.
You do not control when/how many times/or if at all they call. What you have some control over is arranging for a proper response from your employer. You can request the concerned to be cooperative & accommodating then it would help. You might request the person manning the main board to direct call to your director's mobile if a call comes through from HO.
HO would usually avoid calling on a mobile as there is no surety that the number being called actually belongs to the authorised person from the employee's company.
