Working Status at the time of ILR - Employee or SelfEmployed

Hi ,

I am applying for ILR shortly . I am a director of my own public limited company and draw salary and Divident .

In ILR SET( O ) forms says for Tier1 ( General Migrant )

Evidence that you are econimically active in the UK in Employment or self employement or both .

As HMRC defination cleary says if you are director of your own company and draw salary and dividend than you are a employee .

However i am not sure

1 ) Do i need to show case worker only documents related to Employee
2 ) or only for self employed .

Is any one got ILR with the same scenerio and already got ILR .

Please suggest .

you preetty much show them the same evidence in either scenario so i think it is useless to get agitated as to which box you fall in to.

But in case of Employee , i need to show personal bankaccount

in case of self employed company invoices and business bank statement .

Obviously i prefer to be employee but looking for the same sort of scenerio with someone already got ILR .

Please somebody advice.
