What is the normal Turn around for an application.

I have applied for Tier 1 General on 11.May.2009.

What is the approximate time frame for this?

When should i expect my documents back?

You should give yourself 6 to 7 weeks before you get your documents back

Also don't contact customer service ,they will drive you mad!! they are not helpful at all

HSMP to Teir 1

Applied 30th March
Received Ref letter dated: 1st April
Called 12/05 Awaiting Consideration
Called 15/05 Under Consideration

All documents received: 16th May

Visa Valid Until 14 May 2012

my status was under consideration on 15th so hopfully i will get it on monday or tuesday then isnt it....

Yes you should get it on monday/tuesday. In my case i think they took just a day to process and dispatch the papers. All time before that it was awaiting consideration

Received Ref letter dated: 6th April
Called 12/05 Awaiting Consideration
Called 15/05 Under Consideration
Called 18/05 all documents despated today

now waiting for tomorrow........any one know whether im gonna get it tomorrow or day after tomorrow?

they verified my job with my employer as well on friday .....i dont know whether its approved or .................

Yeah Jammy ... !!! Most Unhelpfull guys work there.

May be they need to outsourse their call center to India, I am sure that will work better.

Hopefully I get my documents back on Time as I have already booked my holiday for July End.

You are lucky to get it quick.
Cuz on the BIA HomeOffice Website they say that they are dealing with the applications received on or before 10 April.

Hi,

I have applied Tier1(G) on 8th April(WP to Tier1).

My status today is "Awaiting Consideration".

Anyone knows when it is going to be changed to "Under Consideration".

Did not ask for Urgent Treatment ?, if your case is straightforward and you organize your documents well, it'll definately help.

Received Passport with visa stamped until 2012 - May 21 2009
Visa was issued on May 20, 2009

Don't think any employer checks were done as my boss has not heard from them.
