Distance Learning and 15 years of education

Post by TheProfessor » Tue May 19, 2009 7:20 pm

Hi All,

I would appreciate if somebody would clear up the following confusion for me. I have a 3 year BCs degree (total of 15 years of education) that is not considered equivalent to British Bachelors.

I got admission in University of Liverpool UK online program for MSc I.T. They basically accepted my 9+ years of experience and considered me fit for this program. I have checked various websites, NARIC database and the British Council and they say it is a good university and the degree is equivalent to British Masters.

My question is, will i be considered equivalent to British Masters once i complete my degree by UK NARIC and can i claim 35 points for my HSMP application if I decide to apply considering that I still dont have 18 years of education experience?

Does UK NARIC provide any preassessment plan?

Thanks for any help you guys provide,
Cheers

You will be fine. Some of my friends done Online MBA from Liverpool university and their MBA is considered for HSMP although they were not interested in it. Don't worry its fine.
