South African looks to move back to UK with uk partner

Post by erinmaryguy7484 » Mon May 18, 2009 10:27 am

Hi guys,
I have just joined today as i am needing some much needed advice from whoever out there who might be able to help.
My boyfriend and I are both legally living on GCA Residency in the UAE. I have a stable job whilst my man lost his a few months ago with the recession. We are trying to get one for him, but jobs in his field are quite in demand as he is an architect. Time is running short for him now with accommodation and money and of course whatever we decide it would be preferably be together. He is british and I, alas am south african which is posing a problem as its seems virtually impossible to get in the country now. I want to do it the correct way! Decisions need to be made soon and im lost for answers! Im applying for jobs in which i will be granted a working visa and sponsorship. I would gladly go back to south africa, but for me i know there is nothing much and for him jobs are few and far. We have a home in england and a stable environment with his parents and alot of my own family and cousins and friends.
It has been quite a stressful time losing jobs etc and trying to still go on with a normal life trying to figure out what is next.
Could anyone out there who knows what could be done to get me in the UK give some advice!

Much would be appreciated. Sorry so long! We are planning to go into the british embassy here in the UAE to see what can be done from our side.

Take care and look forward to hearing anything that can be motivating and useful to our fight to stay together!

Regard
Erin and Iain
:)

Post it the section(s) appropriate for your query. This is the non immigration related section.

When you start a new topic please state how long you have been with your boyfriend and how long you have been cohabiting for, if you have of course.
