Simply because her mother is Portuguese and living in UK, doesn't make your daughter British! The mother would have to have permanent residence (after five years of living in the UK) before the child could be registered as British. As UKBabble says, get her a Portuguese passport! It is an EU passport after all, and she should be able to travel to Sweden visa free; which would also be the case with a British passport. So you can still go to Sweden easily when you get her a Portuguese passport, which I'm assuming you apply for from the Portuguese consulate.McrLad wrote:Hi My Wife is from Portugal & I'm non EU citizen, we have a 2yrs old daughter who was born in manchester..
