Investor and Entrepreneur UK Visa

Post by donnyjonny91 » Thu Aug 25, 2005 10:45 am

Just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on the process for the investor/entrepreneur visa for the UK.

I am from New Zealand but moving to UK next year hoping to gain entry into UK, and start a food vending business. Problem is, I need to spend around six months building up enough clients to run in full time.
Does anyone know whether it is possible (assuming I get approved to enter the UK as an investor/entrepreneur) to work part-time for these first six months? I would plan to work in a bar or restaurant. This would allow me to have a guarunteed source of income at the same time as building up my client base.

There is no information about this on the websites, but any help from any of you would be much appreciated.

You can come to the UK as a visitor for the initial 6 months period to build up a client base although you will not be able to take up any employment, until you come in on the Businessman visa.
