spouse visa

hello/hi everyone. well m totally new to this forum. need help/advise from you guys.
my sister got married on may 13th 2009. her husband stays in london. he holds citizenship of UK. he works in an software company. he has been staying there for more than 8 years.
my sister is currently lecturer at a medical college in india.


can you guys please help me with the visa process and stuffs, i mean like 1) what kind of visa does she need to apply for, to stay there in UK with him
2) required documents of herself
3) required documents of her husband
4) various letters and other details

i hope you guys will definitely help me through.

How about using the search function, we can only answer the same question a dozen times before boredom sets in....

I think we will have to do a sticky on this subject,so people can look it up, rather than answer this question week in and week out.

Why not her husband find out ? Its will be better her husband find out what sort of documents they both need before she apply.

Ofcourse there is nothing wrong with the husband finding out! The problem is that most of the answers are already within the forum, and it doesn't require one to be a brain surgeon to figure out that it makes more sense to do a bit of research (ie. within the forum/google) before posting questions that have been answered 100 times over! This is the point we are trying to make. Nuff said... :roll:

Thats no problem.what I suggest you do is to read the above link, and if you are then not sure about anything, then come and ask us, and we will gladly help you out.

Sometime the same questions are asked day in and day out where people want an answer which has already been answered, and therefore the senior and expeienced OP's are reluctant to answer it again.
