My question is, when it comes time to apply for ILR, will the decision for both my wife and myself to get ILR be based on purely my record in the UK as the 'primary' HSMP holder?
The reason I ask is, if my wife makes numerous trips back to her homeland for extended trips to see family and friends (while I beaver away working here in the UK
) it is likely she may not have spent the requisite amount of time in the UK to achieve ILR. When it comes time for me to apply for ILR, can she get it too purely based on my record as the HSMP holder?
