student visa extension

my visa is expiring this end of this month, with acccording to new rules can anyone suggest me what sort of documents is needed for visa extension, other than uni letter, bank statment. universty said that just this docs are enough for extension , as uni letter says the reason and bank stment shows the enough funds to stay. is there anything else needed?
and what about the point system , is thr any point system for student visa extension?
