New ILR Query

Post by marc9477 » Wed Aug 24, 2005 11:50 am

Hi,

I received my a work permit in the UK on August 9th, 2001. I received my HSMP in early February of 2005. I want to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.

I have looked at the application, and it asks those that are filling out the ILR, coming from the HSMP, need to provide proof of economic activity.

I have been working continously over the last 4 years, so I have bank statements and payslips for this period of time.

Does this mean I have to provide evidence, from the time that I recieved my HSMP and Leave to REmain, or do I have to go further back than that?

thanks

Marc

Would proof of economic activity also require an employer letter?

Required for the full 4 years not just last few months on HSMP as in your case.

Not for HSMP but all other appropriate documentation is always required i.e. wage slips, P60's, tax returns if applicable.
