Thanks Mr Rusty, I asked because with HO there are so many variables that it would be impossible for any one person to know them all. Worse still the variables varry daily.Mr Rusty wrote:"Some people" are winding you up. I've never heard so much nonsense. Go and visit your friend.
Immigrants in detention are not criminals, and they deserve all the basic rights just like any other human being. Detention is an immigration process i guess, but some people are so nervous, they subject immigration related problems to crime! I know some one can be an immigration offender, but it doesn't mean that s/he is a criminal.munisa wrote:I have a friend in an immigaration detention centre in Oxford> I would like to visit him but some people have told me that visiting detained immigrants in detention facing imminent removal can affect my future application for ILR. I am on WP so I dont understand the connection here. Guys can you shed some light please as my frend is rotting there and no decision on his case being made either to release him or remove him.
