sameergk wrote:Hi,
I have applied for extension of my leave under Tier1 on June 8th. I have already received a letter from UKBA stating that worked will be begun soon.
For claiming points for qualifications I have submitted my degree certificate and on the application form I have ticked against "qualification listed on Points based calculator ". Today I found out that there is a slight mismatch in the spelling of my educational institution on my degree with that listed on the points based calculator. ( "Visveswaraiah" on degree certificate and "Visvesvaraya" on PBC ). Apparently my institution changed the spelling sometime back... In hindsight I should have obtained a letter from NARIC.
Does anyone think that this could lead to rejection? Can I obtain it now and send it as an additional documentation?
Please help!
By the way I had submitted a NARIC letter at the time of applying for HSMP but did not tick the relevant section..
Thanks

Thanks . I hope the case worker does!
Does UKBA accept new evidences/documentation once after the application has been sent to them? I would like to send the NARIC letter just to be sure...
Letter from NARIC will take 3 weeks (unless applied under urgent treatment route, if there is one now). You will be better-off sending a letter from the University/institution if possible. If nothing you can send an email stating the facts and providing a link to University's/institution's website if such information is available on the net.sameergk wrote:Hi Chetan,
