No advantage apart from :
1). Easy to verify your experience and Uni studies (assuming that they were obtained in the UK)
2). if transfering from WP to HSMP you can continue working until new application is resolved
3). If switching from student - then you have right to stay until case is resolved
4). Difficult to kick you out - unless you dont meet the points and other criteria - whereas if you were oversaes you would have the additional EC hurdle
5). No EC hurdle
Where there is a will there is a way.
