HSMP to Tier 1 Conversion

Post by DilishK » Sun Jun 28, 2009 1:15 pm

Hi All,

I got my HSMP in around Jan 2008 and it would expire on Jan 2010.

Though I could do an entry early in March 2008, I had to return back and I have come here again now in June 2009.

There is just another 6 more months left for my HSMP. Can anybody tell me / point me to right sources - of what all I would need to do / submit for my HSMP to Tier 1 conversion.

The challenge here could be that - I have not received a GBP salary during this period and also my account in UK doesnt have any money deposited during this period. So can I show my accounts in India (whcih has to be converted by a X factor as per the living stds there... somethign that used to be used for Initial HSMP calculation) ?

Any information would be helpful.

Thank you,

Cheers!
Dilish K

Visit UKBA website and go through the Tier-1 guidance notes. Post any specific queries you have thereafter.

You can't use the earnings made in your home country for extension unless you were on deputation from a UK based company.
