Tier 1 Application - A couple of issues

Post by wy-123 » Sat Jun 27, 2009 11:53 am

Hi,

I am thinking on making application but have a couple of questions relating to section D16 and D24 on the application form. My immigration summary is as follows:

I was on 5 years work permit since 2006 then I changed the job in November 2007 but my new work permit application was rejected; as I had resigned from previous job so my leave to remain was curtailed to January 2008. I submitted my FLR application before curtailed leave expired.

My employer submitted fresh work permit application (rather than appealing) but as it was outside 28 days therefore it was rejected too so were its susequent appeals, during all this HO kept my passport and did not make any decision on my stay on my new employer's request. After final rejection I left the UK.

Afterwards, I got out of country work permit and also got the visa from my country.

How should I fill the section D16 and D24?!

Thanks.

WY

I don't want to be rude but don't start shouting from the roof top if your query is not responded soon. You posted your query at 10:53 in the morning wait for some time before people start replying. Most of the members who reply to queries works during the day time. Are you expecting them to leave everything to reply to your query?

D16: It should be yes as you have stayed in the country after your initial WP grant expired and also subsequent appeals.

D24: Were you ever deported? If not, then this should be NO. Leaving country after you visa expires is different from deportation.

Also wait for reply from other members too.

Sorry about that... I was worried..

D16: But I submitted FLR before my leave expired and my passport was with the HO up until both appeals for the fresh WP application (submitted outside 28 days) were rejected!!!
