Refused Entry

Post by angel4u » Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:25 pm

I have been refused entry in the UK when Im trying to go back from my holiday. Immi. didnt let me in because of my employers wife told them that I am doing what Im suppose to do as a domestic worker.

I have a fiance in the UK and he is willing to marry me.
Will the immigration let me in the UK again?
Will it cause any problem?

please advised .

thanks
angel

Angel I think the effective cancellation of your domestic worker's visa should have no impact upon you getting a settlement visa.

Either marry your fiancé in your home country and then apply for a spouse visa, or alternatively apply for a fiancée visa, come to the UK and then get married in the UK, then apply for spouse visa in the UK.

Can I ask, which country are you from?

hello.

im from the Philippines.

well i just thought that because if i apply for a spouse visa
they will ask in the application if i have been refused entry in the UK or any country. It might have a bad effect on getting a spouse visa.

my employer is still trying to sort things out so that I can go back in the UK under the domestic visa.

thanks

Could you share more details about your experience? Were you deported and was your passport marked as such?
