Can anyone reccomend a good immigration solicitor/consultant

I need to talk to an immigration advisor with experience in Article 8 cases or someone that has been successful in gaining some type of discrectionary leave outside of the immigration rules. I'm an overstayer married to british citizen with a four year old child & need to know what my chances are of gaining leave if I submit an application. Any suggestions? Thanks

well i would recommend Danielle Cohen if its a DLR u wantjust google her and she will sort u out at £2000 she is not cheap but comes very highly recommended.

try Immigration Advisory Service as it is means tested and they have really helped me!!!!!!!!!!

I was paying a legal representative but they did such a poor job that our case ended up in an appeal!!!

proceed with caution there are alot that just want the money!!!

A word of warning regarding solicitors. They often claim to be experts but often aren't. Also price is not a good indication of quality either. The lawyer we took was the most knowledgeable, experienced in article 8/spouse visas and the cheapest too. It's worth quizzing them on recent case studies such as Judicial Reviews. Ask them what their opinion is of "such 'n such" case from a few months back (find a case which has set some kind of precedent). If they don't know about that case then chances are they aren't really an expert after all.

My solicitor's charges as follows:

250 for a reconsideration letter
1500 for a Judicial Review submission
500 for the barrister
