Judicial Review for Work Permit Holders who came before 2006

Post by san_jin » Thu Jul 09, 2009 12:06 pm

Hi all,

I got to know recently that HSMP visa holders, who arrived in UK before April 2006, got the Permanent residency in 4 years as they won the appeal for judicial review. My query is here about the work permit holders who came before April 2006, whether they will also get the Permanent residency within 4 years.

Actually I came here in UK at workpermit in August 2005, so it will be highly appreciated if somebody can update me about the permanent residency status for workpermit holders.

Thanks & Kind Regards..
San.

The JR2 does not cover the WP people it was only for HSMP people pre April 2006.

How ever people are working on preparing a case for new JR for WP holders.... you can look at their website http://www.immigrantwelfare.co.uk/ for more details...
