Visitor visa refused

Post by HelloJee » Thu Jul 09, 2009 4:03 pm

Hi There,

I have applied my mother visa in Sept-2007 to invitation for my graduation ceremony, I was on the IGS visa on that time and visa was refused on the following reason. Currently I am on HSMP visa, working in IT company.

You have failed to provide satisfactory evidence to demonstrate that you are established in Pakistan. You have failed to provide any evidence of any business, employment, regular income or how you support yourself in Pakistan. You have provided no evidence of you marriage, the whereabouts of your husband or any evidence of family remaining in Pakistan. As such I consider that you have failed to demonstrate sufficiently strong economic and far ties in Pakistan to satisfy me that you intend to leave the UK but rather that you have good economic reasons for not doing so. Therefore, on the balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you intend a visit for the purpose and period as stated by you.

Given my doubts regarding your application as a whole I am not satisfied you are genuinely seeking entry as visitor for a limited period not exceeding 6 months and that you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of the period of the visit as stated. Furthermore, I am not satisfied you are able to meet the cost of your return or onward journey and maintain and accommodate yourself adequately out of resources available to you without recourse to public funds or taking employment or producing goods or providing services within the United Kingdom, including the selling of goods or services direct to members of the Public.

My mother was became widowed when I was age of 5 years and I am only son of my family. We have house in Pakistan on my father name which I can show as it is currently on rent.

My Question is that, how do I prove the family ties as there is no close family member is Pakistan.

How do I prove evidence of employment, regular income or how she support herself in Pakistan and Can she show money as support which I sent from you UK.

How do I prove sufficiently strong economic reason and far ties in Pakistan to satisfy that she intend to leave the UK because good economic reasons in Pakistan. My mother has the bank account in Pakistan and I can maintain that account for 3-4 months. If yes then how much balance I need to show on her account? and how much Income for each month and source of Income.

Please advise accordingly.

Thanks

They just want to make sure that she will return home before her visa expires, so things like property out there, job, family (brothers, sisters etc). A return ticket will also help.
