re: request for urgent treatment

hi guys,

i am within the uk and recently applied for extentian under tier 1 general (swith from hsmp)

they say, they can't give any update on the progress till it has been 14 weeks. but that doesn't mean i wouldn't get the visa in less than 14 weeks...

however i can't wait for 14 weeks as i need to travel abroad on business before. i am sure thats a valid reason for urgent treatment. could someone advice me on how to request this --- i don't find any forms related to this.. only the urgent treatment form from the HSMP period...

Not sure is this is still the same procedure but you can send a letter to UKBA along with the evidence ( like letter from your company HR for travel).

Are you sure they said they can not give status till 14th WEEK??? Put your timelines to understand better..

For UT (urgent treatment) you need to take care of the following points
1. Should send UT request well in advance 2-3weeks before ur travel date
2. Letter from company regarding ur travel
3. Flight tickets supporting ur travel
4. most imp.. u need to mention in the cover letter that: If Caseworker can not decide the approval process befor ur travel date.. u shd ask him not to cancel/withdraw the application.. if not they will cancel the visa processing and send ur docs back...
