UK Experience Points

Hi All,

I have to apply for HSMP Extension and I am getting confused with Uk experience points. I have 2 years HSMP visa which will be expired in August. However, I came to UK 8 months ago and then got job. SO, I have salary slips of last 7 months only. My 7 months salary is more than 20K.

So, I was wondering if there is any restriction in claiming these 5 points as I didn't work 12 months?

The poilcy guidelines states as below:

Those applying for an HSMP Extension can now claim UK Experience under certain conditions:

The applicant will earn 5 points if the previous HSMP visa was for greater than 12 months and they earned at least £16,000 from the Previous Earning Power category.
The applicant will earn 5 points if the previous HSMP visa was for less than 12 months and they earned at least £10,650 from the Previous Earning Power category.


But is there any such restriction that I wouldn't be able to claim these points?

if u have earned £16,000 you will get UK experience points
