If we make a new application should we withdraw our appeal?

Post by philwafc » Thu Jul 16, 2009 5:08 pm

Hello all, my wife's settlement visa was refused in May and we appealed against the decision. The earliest the appeal would be heard is November and providing we won the earliest she would be over to the UK would be February 2010. We don't want to wait this long so we will make a new application in September. I have been advised by some to withdraw the appeal as having 2 applications on the ECO's database could confuse things and perhaps make problems. Anybody have opinions on this or experiance? As always any advice is appreciated.
