Clarification needed: myself & my soon to be husband

Hi there,
okay so just to let you know I have been looking into this for a while now but am slightly confused and would appreciate some help. The visa process is expensive and I do not want to go wrong and end up wasting money!

Basically, my mum is now a permanent resident after marrying her very first boyfriend. They have been married for two years now and I am about to be married (December). We are both UK citizens. What I would like to know is:

once I am married what exactly does my mum have to submitt? I am aware that she has to start the application process by submitting a I-130 form?

Could somebody tell me, does she have to submit one for me and one for my husband? And also what happens after that?

Yes, she is a perm. resident now and is married to an american citizen.

Where does the F3 visa come into it? From what I have read that is the visa that would cover me and my husband.
