She then had to fly back to Atlanta but then flew back to Manchester. Then her problems started all over again.
Officers there spotted that she had been refused entry to Ireland and began questioning her. She was not allowed into the UK. But she said the immigration officers were lovely.
She was soon back on another flight across the Atlantic and $4000 (€2,800) out of pocket without a vacation.
Ms Fowler now wants an apology and the removal of the refusal from her passport.
