Anybody have an answer for this?

I have no idea but my best guess is that it would be fairly quick as there are no outside agencies to deal with.

i guess that all the applications go into the same queue, whether spouse of irish national, or on work permits, or irish associations. just kids go separately. and when your turn comes in, then the processing can be shorter, but you would still have to wait for your turn to come.
