JSA Claim Rejected ? Why?

JSA Claim Rejected ? Why?

Hi,

My wife is working in temp employment and she is on and off work with the same company, weekly rolling contract. They give one week notice before end the employment.

She applied JSA when she was not on work. But the claim has been rejected and they said, she doesnot have sufficient contribution in NI for the financal year 2006-2007 and 2007-2008.

She didnot work on 2007 and she stared working from 2008. Why they didnot consider 2008- 2009 contribution. If they would have considered 2009 contribution, she could have been eligible.

How much contribution we should have to claim JSA.

Any help and direction would be much appreciated.
