Processing Timescale and Docs to submit

Post by neoseal » Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:50 pm

Following is timescale for my appl with CHC - London

-Applied for Federal Skilled Worker Immigration Dec 2007.
- CHC London requested docs in 3 March 2009.
- Docs submitted on 1 May 2009.
- Received medical forms 24 May 2009.
- Submitted Medical 10 June.
- CHC London passport requested to be stamped 13 July 2009.

So all in all it takes less than 6 months to process appl after you submit docs to CHC London. This was for my appl, but some posters say it all depends on qualification as well, me and my wife both have masters degree.

I have read other post where people are worried about notorized docs. I would say dont bother with notary and dont waste money.

List of docs I submitted.

- Original police certificates.
- Normal photocopies of degree certificate, transcript etc
- bank statement photocopies for last 6 months showing required balance
- passport photocopies all pages.
- payslips photocopies, if you are in same job for long time you can send starting few months, middle few months and latest few months payslips. If you can work experience letter from employer.
- Previous work experience letter if you have to, sometime you may not have original, photocopies may be accepted, just mention in cover letter for that section.
- All other docs as required.

I did not submit a any notorized copy of docs.

Hope this helps.

Good luck to all.
