INDEFINATE WIFE FOR WIFE OF TWO YEARS

Post by malica » Sat Aug 01, 2009 7:38 am

Hi.
I have just received me indefinate visa and would like to know if it is possible for my wife of two years to get hers too.
We got our certificates of approval and got registered here in November 2007 but during that time I didnot have my indefinate visa. I was her dependent for the next two years. Now that I have my indefinate is it possible for her to apply for her indifinate visa as we have been married and staying together for two years as spouses.
The law states that if anyone enters the UK on a spouse visa, they can apply for indefinate stay after two years of staying together.
My wife was an international student when she entered the country.
Has anyone else had a similar situation? Could any one help us out in this?
