medical in london embassy

Post by irishman » Wed May 20, 2009 9:54 pm

Hi all,
We applied for the fiance visa in november.
The latest status is that will be sent to the US embassy in london.
My question is regarding the medical exam,...... As a kid of the 70's in ireland we all received shots in the arm as babies (i still have the 3 scars to prove it), but i dont have "actual" records of this,.Will the doctor in london be aware that we all got standard shots back then and save me the time and expense of having to have certain vaccinations again,..

Thanks in advance for any light on the subject.

hi,

i just had my medical,

best thing is to call the doctors in london, and ask them.

i did and they said as a 30 something male, all i needed was a tetanus booster and a MMR jab, i went to my local gp and got them free. im the same as you, i have had shots when i was kid, that there is no record of.

if in doubt call them before you go all the distance :)

hope this helps any
