Problems regarding attested copy bank statement

Post by shieldguy » Sun Aug 09, 2009 1:47 am

I am applying for my HSMP visa extension to Tier 1 General

I have orignal bank statement for all 11 months except last one becuase it will arrive late this month and I dont have time now so I get the copy of my last month bank statement from the bank and they also stamp and signed it, but its currently have the following difference from the orignal bank statement which making me confused

Orignal bank statement show account summary at the begining of starting page with
total start balance
total money in
total money out
total end balance

In my print copy from bank its didnt have any of this at all

Then in the transaction section where its shows each day transactions

All Orignal statement have following columns
Date (this contains date of transaction)
Description (this contains e.g. my company name if its salary transaction)
Detail (e.g. direct debit)
Money In
Money Out
Balance (balance on that specific date)

In my print copy from bank it has following columns

Statement Date
Detail (this contains date of transaction)
Srce (e.g, CRD or CDI)
Type (e.g, ATM or DDR)
Payment Ammount GBP (it contains amount of money out)
Receipt Amount GBP (it conains amount of money in)
Statement Balance GBP (balance on that specific date)

Are these difference will be ok and they wont reject my last month statement ?

Also on home office web site they says that

"Electronic bank statements with the official stamp of the bank that issued the statements will be accepted. The stamp must appear on every page of the statement."

what doese they mean by "Electronic bank statements" is this means that its only for those people who only have online bank accounts which is not true in my case or the statement which printed by the bank will also comes under this category?

One of my friend says that now a days if I send home office a attested copy of bank statement they still want to see the orignal later even if they consider the application in the begining is it true?

My last month banks statement is important because its contains my last month salay and also shows last month balance for Maintenance (funds)

Thanks

Thats ok.What you are submitting is not an electronic statement -because your account is not an electronic account per the Guidance. You are submitting statement issued by the Bank. If the printout is on official bank stationery this should do.
