Can Tier-1 General set up Limited company?

Post by lionfly » Wed Aug 12, 2009 11:31 pm

I only know Tier 1 General can work freely, or self-employed.

Does self-employed mean Sole trader?

Can tier-1 holder set up Limited company? Is this self-employed, or employee of the company (which affect the NI classes, tax etc. I think)?

thanks for any info.

Yes. Tier-1 person setup a limited company. Employed or Self Employed depends on how you run your company or nature of your business.
