Good luck you're going to need it! I spoke to my old man out there who at the weekend was sent there for work 4 years ago(at vice-president level) and he said it is nigh on impossible to recruit foreigners now as the government is getting strict on work visas for foreigners due to the number of locals unemployed.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear mind but you have little to no chance of staying out there long term unless you have immediate family who are Singaporean residents.

If you are looking at applying for Singapore citizenship you will have to
satisfy the eligibility criteria. One of the criteria is that you should be at least 21 years of age and you must be a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) for at least 2 to 6 years prior to the date of application. Renounce your Finnish citizenship in favour of Singapore citizenship? You must be mad.

Better to become a Singapore PR. But even then, not easy to qualify. Marrying a Singaporean, in itself, means nothing either.

Permanent residence I guess should be enough, I doubt they even issue citizenship from what I heard only if you marry their citizen will they even be able to consider your application.

On the contrary. Marriage to a Singapore citizen confers, in itself, no right to apply for residence or citizenship.
