Qualification:
Degree certificate and transcripts No need for transcripts. Degree Certificate is all that required.
NARIC degree equivalence letter
Also attach PBS calculator summary sheet.

Previous Earnigs:
Payment History letter from employer
Salary Slips
Last 12 months bank statements
P60 for 2008-2009 Not required. Don't submit this unless you are claiming for period April-March.

UK Experience:
P60 for 2008-2009Not required. Your UK payslips+Bank Statements are proof for this.

Maintenance Funds:
Bank Statement of last three months

English Language:
Degree certificate
Medium Certificate from University
When you include PBS summary sheet with you application, it will have relevant points for this too.

Address Proof:
Council Tax bill
Water bill
Why you need address proof? There is no requirement for Address proof. Infact you bank statement itself contain your address

Dependant Applicant

Identify : Passport
Relationship : Marriage Certificate
You would need separate form for your dependent. Also Evidence for maintenance funds. If you are showing maintenance funds in the same bank statement as your's ..then mentioned it clearly it cover letter.

Please confirm whether I missed anything? Do I need to provide any more details in support of my application?

Do I need to provide the House Agreement? The utility bills shows the name of both of us(i.e Myself and my wife) No.

Many Many Thanks

Are you saying that the application will be rejected if a cover letter and PBS points calculator is not provided?? Differentiate between what is absolutely required and what is good to have.

If I have to apply again today, I will definetly include below whether it is mandatory or not:

1.Cover Letter: The layout of Tier-1 (G) form is such that you cannot explain everything in it and there are simply not enough fields in it.You have to add additional document in it. Having Cover letter and Index(table of content) makes the application more manageable, organised and easy to read. Also it is good for applicant to check in quick time what he has included and what not instead of going 70 pages of form :-(

2.PBS Summary Sheet: Not because it is mandatory or not, but due to the fact that many people have experience problems with the points awarded by PBS. Sometimes points were awared for qualification and sometimes not. E.g. IIM qualification, which was not there sometime back, then it was there...again it was not there ..God knows the current status. Providing Summary Sheet will prove that you were awarded points for your qualification. [you don't want to be in a situation where points were awared when you checked, and sent the application but not when case worker checked it.

Wonderful Chetan:

Your post will help more ppl to feel comfortable and confident about their applications..

I will also add that Cover letter is the only way you can speak to your caseworker and explain your case to him..

Good stuff again..

No point arguing. I stated what is absolutely required and what is not. Cover letter is required for explaining things which are not self evident. If the case is straight forward one can do away with the same as all the details are in the application form itself.

PBS points calculator print-out: What good does it serve? Will the caseworker rely on a computer printout? They do not consider anything which is not original. If it comes to it, presumable they would prefer checking the qualification etc. themselves. The problem is, we all try toover-complicate matters even when they are not. Anyways, its for the OP to decide. I still stand by my statement. If you still do not agree, kindly point us to the guidance notes/ links etc.
