hi,we had our ilr appointment on wednesday , they held our application saying they need to verify it as my payslip doesnt show tax deductions,my employer pays me after tax,gave them my bank statements and 6 months payslip.does anyone knows about the outcome and how long will it take?

on the work permit basis,they checked my passport,work permit ,bank staments which they said it all fine,only tax was the problem for which they held my application.has anyone gone throught this situation?just let me know.

How come your payslips don't have any tax deductions details?
You must surely be getting P60s from your employer. Do you have those?
Did you carry them with you to the PEO? If yes, you could have submitted them and that might have done the job.
Correct me if I am wrong but I guess you entered UK on a ICT ?

That's the problem then. They need to check that you have been paying tax and also that your employer has been paying tax to HMRC as he is legally required to do.
I believe that legally he should be showing both tax and NIC deductions on the pay slips.

Sounds dodgy, like those WP people who deduct tax and don't pay it to UK HRMC, who is ur employer? Are they a trusted British company?

So does the P60 show tax/NI deducted? Payslips have to show deductions, it's a legal requirement.
