Netherlands - Applying for Work Permit on my own?

Hello all,

I really appreciate the information people share here.

Here is my query:-

1- I have a job offer in Amesterdam, Holland.
2- The employer has agrees to hire me but now very reluctant to apply for a work visa because of the hassle involved. (I'm non-EU national)

3- Can I apply for the Dutch work visa myself? My employer is ready to give me an offer letter, but I would have to do all the paper work and the process. Is it possible ??

(I heard it is possible in UK, isnt it the same all over EU? )

As chess mentioned the employer needs to provide information and documentation to the IND and prove that they are a real company and need the employee.
It will be viable for you to offer to pay for the process and hire a lawyer to prepare the documentation for the government; it is always a hassle to get accounts, documents and other papers....and the lawyer will simply fill a form and request the information form the company....if they really need you they will start with the process.

This is exactly what I have in mind...

But I am confused that who will eventually file the application to the government. My lawyer or the company?

Is it like the application preparation stuff will be handled by my lawyer and in the end it would be sent by the company??
