i am a international student n came here 10th of Aug 2001,my passport date starts 30th of july 2001.and always been studying in uk!just heard so many rumours about the 10yrs IRL gonna be abolished!does that mean no hope for me?need advise!thx :(

Dont want to be judgemental here and do not claim to know your personal circumstances but I think you knew that this route was fraught with uncertainty. All you can do now is pray. If things turn out unfavourable, you can seek legal opinion then.

Hopefully your qualifications will stand you in good stead to get a job in the UK, so if ILR for 10 years long residency does go, you still have options. If not in the UK even perhaps somewhere else in the world or back home.

Being a student has never been a guaranteed route to settlement. The route to ILR after 10 years would have been a concession when you came in any case.
