Visitors visa for inlaws in India

Post by hsmp_1476 » Wed May 20, 2009 3:00 pm

Hi,

I am indian national living in UK on HSMP. I am planning to sponsor my in-laws visitor's visa. I have listed down the documents needed from both of us. Any suggestions related to this will be greatly appreciated.

Document from my in-laws:
(Father in law - retired business man, no income;
mother in law - retired teacher, drawing a monthly pension)
- Both passports and photo
- Land documents which is owned by my father-in-law
- Bank statement showing Rs 200,00 running 6 months back
- My mother-in-laws pension book, which states her pension etc
- Covering letter from both of them
- Completed application form with DD for visa fee

From my side:
- Sponsorship letter for both of them
- Invitation letter for both of them
- 6 moths bank statement (original)
- 6 months salary slips (original)
- Council tax (copy)
- Utility bill (copy)
- House agreement (tenancy agreement) [copy]
- Passport + visa pages (copy)

Plese let me know if this is enough or I have missed something.

Thanks
Vikram
