EEA2 section 8.

Post by Mac_UK » Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:15 pm

Have a quick question about section 8 in the EEA2 application.

Quote:

Do you or any family members included in this application have any criminal convictions in the
UK or any other country (including traffic offences) or any civil judgments made against you?

End quote.

Does this mean "right now" or do they ask for previous convictions 10 years ago?

I am sure its not something to be interpreted so a straight and filling answer would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Mac.

Under the rehabilitation of ex-offenders act. Convictions of 10 years or over are considered spent, except in cases where the custodial sentence received exceeded 2 years, in which case the conviction never becomes spent and should always be disclosed
