Got PEO appointment this week itself. But worried

Post by hari15 » Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:51 am

Hi All,
I am applying for ILR based on WP + HSMP

My wife (dependant) passed Life in UK test yesterday

I just prepared to apply for ILR by post, for a last chance I called Home office today for PEO appointment

To my surprise I got appointmeny by 29th August (this week itself). I think somebody would have cancelled the appointment at that date so I got by that day

Now. My biggest worry is my wife passed Life in UK test just yesterday (Monday)

Now my PEO appointment is on Saturday, just 5 days gap.

I heard some where there that there should be sufficient gap between test pass date and appointment. Will this cause a problem?

Thanks

Sorry to say there well may be. The PEOs advise they need a minimum of a week to put the Life test information on the system, and it will also depend on how long the test centre takes to submit the pass mark.
My husband's test centre advised not to book a PEO appoinment earlier than 2 weeks.

Thanks for those replied

I called PEO again they told 2 days gap should be sufficient. But I need to confirm this with Test Centre too.

Do I need to get my dependants to PEO? one of my friend told its not necessary to take dependants for PEO appointment.
