Dear All

You may be aware that UK govt. is going to introduce a immigration system from next year.

I think all HSMP aspirants who got rejection, have seen "getting a detailed graduate level job reference letter from employer" is the single most important reason for failure (especially if you work in Indian subcontinent)!

So, think you should inform HO that they should consider this fact. They are running a public survey here.

http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/ind/en ... tions.html

However, they may not consider your response if you are outside UK.

But still you can mail your concern to this email.

Pointsbased.Consultation@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

If more & more people tell HO office their problem, they might consider changing their rules.

So, please convey your feelings to them.

Good luck.

PS: The survey ends in 7 Nov 2005

(my emphasis)

Not saying you are wrong but can I ask the source of your "next year" comment? Isn't this just part of the Government's 5-year plan?

...............
It is our view that changes to the immigration system as outlined in the five year plan are unlikely to occur until some time in 2006.

......................
The Government will announce firm proposals for change and a timetable for implementation in the Spring of 2006.
