Extending family visa

Post by Rodrigo » Thu Aug 27, 2009 2:28 pm

Hi

I am currently in the UK on a family visa and my visa finishes in December. I was given a visa for only 6 month period and I arrived in August just a week ago so nearly 3 months of my visa was already gone. When i applied for this visa in july i said i would be travelling in august but they gave me the visa from july but i couldn't travel then as I was working. My question is can I extend my visa so i can stay here with my family a little longer??

thank you

You can only extend in extreme compassionate circumstances and I'm afraid to the HO that means terminal illness, civil war back home, volcano erupting (copyright John) or only having cheap trainers bought from the market.

PS, one of them is not real.
