i am an ILR holder since march 2009.
i also have a child born in 2005 from another relationship.
is it possible to register my boy as a british citizen?

I think you might be able to register him, even though he was born before 2006. See this information and guide.

Where was your son born?
Are you the child's father or mother?
Are you unmarried?

my son was born in the UK
i am the father
unmarried to his mum
mum here illegaly but has a pending application with the HO for the last 15 months.
