child benefit for HSMP JR

Hi all
child benefit can be paid 3 months back from application, does that include who got their ILR with backdated letter?
if i apply for child benefir just after my ILR, will i get last three months according to home office letter stating that i was granted ILR from 4 months ago?

you will get it for 3 months max

I would advise not to send the letter with you application as this will confuse the caseworker, just put the date from that letter in the form

the main benefit is that your visa is permanent now, security etc. ..

Or you meant social benefits ? That depends on your situation really, - tax credits if you are on a low income, disability benefits etc .. normally if you have no special circumstances and loaded, you will only be eligible for the child benefit ..

yes, you should get the £250 child fund voucher automatically after applying for child benefit

well i am a doctor but i stopped working in from August. my last P60 is 40500, and during the 4 months i worked this tax year i earned 21000.
my husband is self-employed trades with cars may get 500 per month since march. last year earning for him is 0.
i cant work because i got 2 young children and would like to stay with them also i was very stressed at work and got a letter from occupational health prove that am unable to work and need a career break.
childcare 25 per week.
savings ??
what can i claim?

£250 Child Voucher

Hope you won't mind my asking but from where would the £250 Child voucher come from? Does one have to apply for it or does it automatically come with the Child Benefit.

Hope you can clarify.

Just learnt from CB office that it would take 26 weeks before they could get back to us with regards to our benefit claim as one of my sons wasn't born in UK. That would be in time for Christmas.
