I have a few questions regarding the documents that I need to send with my application form.
1. I have the original letter from my uni, but it looks like I could print it myself. The letterhead is just the name of the uni in dark blue (looks almost like black), the font is slightly non-standard though. Signature looks like it could be printed - I can't tell the difference

2. I have 2 proper bank statements and 1 printed version. The printed version has a stamp and a signature of the person who did it for me (along with some other writing like "I certify this to be a true copy of the original bank statement ..."). The original bank statement got sent back by my uni because I was no longer registered - this happened whilst I was moving out of uni residence halls. As I found out the statements that are returned to the bank get destroyed. The printed version does not have my address. The only positive thing about my statements is that I managed to keep the balance well above of what's required. I can order another letter from my bank to confirm my funds for 3 month period but it may take up to a week.
3. I did a 1-year placement. Will this affect my application in any way? I have the original contract, should I send it? (I worked full-time but this should have not been in breach of the immigration rules, since it was a part of my course)
4. The guidance says that HO need to know the date of award and not the graduation date. They say things like: it could have been communicated electronically, through a notice board (this is how I got my provisional result - it still had to be confirmed) and some other stuff. My Degree certificate states the graduation day: "... was conferred upon Denis Kim on sixteenth day of July 2009" (this is about 2 weeks after the course finished) - would it be safe to assume that this will be taken as the date of award? Even the provisional result was well within 12-month period but I have no other support documentation to indicate the dates other than the graduation.
Is it worth doing my application in person for extra £200 or just write a detailed cover letter? (don't mind waiting, just think that it's better have an opportunity to explain everything in person if they have questions)
Any help will be MUCH MUCH appreciated. I know I'm a bit paranoid about this, but I want to get it done right the first time round

Thanks
Denis
PS: my student visa expires on 31st of October, my uni: University of York
