ACCA and Tier 1 Application

Post by Jeny » Mon Aug 31, 2009 4:39 pm

I am an ACCA member applying for UK Tier 1 visa and would be obliged if some one can answer my following queries;

1- Am national of non-english speaking country. Being an ACCA member do i require to sit for an IELTS, if yes then how much band / score is require?

2- How long does it take to get Tier 1 approval?

3- After getting Tier 1 Visa approval, in how much maximum time i have to enter into UK. Actually am applying for Tier 1 in December 2009 this year and planing to travel to UK in May 2010.

4- Initially i have a plan to enter into UK for a job search for only 45 days if i dont get a job in that period then i'll return back and will resume my current job. Will this by any way effect my re-entry in UK over my 3 years of TIER 1 approval, note i'll be re-entring UK after every 6/7 months for a job search on basis of my TIER1 .

Hi Sushil,

Thanks for your reply.

Actually i have read some where in this forum that UK home office had made some changes in May 2008 and from now professional qualifications like ACCA doesnt satisfy the requirement of english language and they have to sit for IELTS exams, could you please comment.
