You dont need to use all 12months salary to qualify for Tier(G).. you can use only 1 or all 12 consecutive months in the last 15months.. but the pick here is you need to get required points;bym007 wrote: My first question is regarding Tier-1 General:
I have not worked for full 12 months leading to my visa application. So I am not sure how do I qualify for this visa category. I have used the points calculator, and so far only this bit is letting me down..
You need to show 800+1600 for maintenance funds for u n ur dependent...My second question is about maintenance fund. I have my wife as well with me on a dependant visa in UK. She came to the UK on 18th Janurary 09. So its not one full year for her.
I am not clear how much funds do I need to show in maintenance in my account?
??? - not sure wat u mean..Last question is about Tier-1 PSW. Do I have same maintenance funds requirements for this visa as well ? (as in General)
What is the points scoring criteria, ie how many points do I score by having earned £xxYou dont need to use all 12months salary to qualify for Tier(G).. you can use only 1 or all 12 consecutive months in the last 15months.. but the pick here is you need to get required points;
For example.. if you get 40K+ per month u can just use 1month and get the max points in the PBS.. or if u get 40K+ in 12 consecutive months in the last 15months u can use all the 12months for max ponts in the PBS.
Even though, my wife will have been in the UK for less than 12 months when I apply?You need to show 800+533 for maintenance funds for u n ur dependent...
Dependant of a Tier 1 migrant
Paragraph.. 38.If the Tier 1 migrant is outside the United Kingdom or has been present in the United Kingdom 38. for less than 12 months, each family member of the Tier 1 migrant must show that he/she, the Tier 1 migrant, or (for children) his/her other parent who is also legally present in the United Kingdom has at least £1600 to support him/her; this is in addition to any funds the Tier 1 migrant needs to prove he/she has enough money to support himself/herself.
You can disregard the full time study period from the 15 month window. So you ave the flexibility to use your earnings from pre-full-time-study employmentbym007 wrote:My first question is regarding Tier-1 General:

So are you suggesting that since I have been in the UK for more than 12 months and although, my spouse has been in the UK for 10 months, I will only need to show 800+533 in maintenance funds ?push_hsmp wrote:If YOU have been in UK for more than 12 months then you need to show £800+£533My second question is about maintenance fund.
