Gesss...his in UK with a passport without any VISA ?tuhadda_fuffar wrote:Hi guys,
One of my friends does not have any UK visa and he came to this country by some agent. He has a European girlfriend who is willing to marry him and live in UK. My friend has his passport with him (which does not have any visa)
Now he has some questions.
1. Can he stay in this country legally after marriage?
2. How he can get papers of this country?
3. Will he have to go to his home country to get visa, and if he has to, what kind of papper work does he need.
4. Can everything be done while staying in the UK?
Any other concerns and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
My 'concern' is that this application to stay in UK will reek of 'marriage of convenience' to the UKBA, and likely be refused!tuhadda_fuffar wrote:Hi guys,

Yes Rozen...thats what i told him. But he said he will go back to home country after marriage and apply for EU family visa and come back to UK. It sounds too much to me. Please advice.Rozen wrote:

Best he goes back to his home country and get his documentation sorted before doing anything else.
Not looking good, I'm afraid.
Just tell your mate to go home, sort himself out, stop using dodgy 'agents', and do things in the right and proper way!tuhadda_fuffar wrote:Any thoughts guys?
